Stork's nest

After lightning struck the water tower, a pair of storks used the tower as a nesting site. However, for historical reasons, a permanent nest cannot be built there.

That is why SchwicheldtMiteinander e.V. looked for an alternative—and found one: a suitable site is being prepared west of the village. A stork's nest will be built on a mast there to provide the storks with a safe home.
